Ghost Recon Wildlands Brings Bolivia Up Close and Personal

My favorite game so far in 2017 is definitely Ghost Recon Wildlands. The best description I can give the game is “immense” because there’s an almost endless supply of missions available. When you’ve finished all of them, I can guarantee that you’ll know just about every nook and cranny of the Bolivian countryside.
The game is beautiful, and you’ll find yourself marveling at the view sometimes as you climb mountains.  Even sniping bad guys from high ground is distracting at times because the distance scenery is so colorful and detailed.  But enough about the graphics.
The game delivers what feels like endless challenges.  You’ll be driving a lot, flying a lot, shooting almost non-stop and grinning like a Cheshire Cat as your targets topple over in front of you!
Here’s a gameplay video that showcases both the beauty and blasting side-by-side:

Spring Months the Busiest for AC Repair

As the weather starts to get a bit warmer, following winter, people begin to wonder how well their air conditioning units work. They may fire them up in anticipation of the impending warmer days, when they will really need those units humming. It may not be time to run the AC just yet, but many homeowners have concerns about how their AC units will work after being dormant for so many months.

Getting your AC repairedIt is a valid concern, as these units have been subject to cold and moisture throughout the winter season, and those months of not being used may have allowed some decay to occur. Or, the units could be infested with mold or pests and need to be cleaned out before they can be used. They could also contain many dust and dirt particles that will need to be removed before they can work efficiently.

Many homeowners use the springtime as their testing period for their AC units, and what they find many times is that the units need repair. They may call for air conditioning repair for Myrtle Beach and try to get a professional in there to fix their unit before they need to use it. That’s the wisest course of action, because if they try to fix the units or clean them on their own, they can end up causing damage, voiding the warranty and being out a working unit. They do not want to go through the expense of replacing their unit or having to pay for more serious repairs right before the start of the summer season.

Using services like air conditioning repair myrtle beach, they can get fast and reliable AC unit repair. There are several competing services in the area, and it is up to the consumers to find the most dependable and reputable company in their area that can work with their budget.

It is in the late springtime that most air conditioning repair Myrtle beach services get their first business for the year. They ramp up in anticipation of the requests and prepare their staff to deal with the incoming requests. Consumers should be aware of the demand at this part of the year and try to get a head start on the rush.

Are There Any Dangerous Clothes for Infants?

Are There Any Dangerous Clothes for Infants?

safe for infantsDressing your baby properly is one of the most essential components of good parenting. Simply slapping together an outfit for your little one is both irresponsibly and potentially harmful. Did you know that there are some clothes considered dangerous for babies? Regardless of that fact, clothing manufacturers still develop fashions which use those hazardous features. As a dutiful parent, you must determine what’s safe and what’s not so you can dress your children accordingly.

The Top Five Treacherous Features to Avoid When Buying Infant Clothes

Picking out what your infant will wear can be a lot of fun, so don’t spoil the party by putting your baby in clothes that could get them hurt. When shopping around, try to avoid items that have the following features, even if they’re the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen:

  1. Lots of Strings

Never purchase infant clothing that has an abundance of strings attached to it. This is a prime reason that baby onesies became so popular, of course. This is not only a choking hazard, it is a strangulation hazard as well. Drawstring pants are very cute, and hoodies with strings can look amazing, but the chance of hurting your baby is not worth the oohs and ahs of onlookers.

  1. Sewn-On Buttons

Infants explore the world around them in many ways. One of the most common: sticking things in their mouths. As an infant, a sewn-on button is just asking to be chewed on. Limit their access to temptation to prevent them from swallowing or choking on loose buttons.

  1. Flammable Material

Keep in mind that most clothing will catch fire is exposed to extreme heat or flame. However, putting your kids in clothes that are extremely flammable is not a good idea at all. Protect your infant by dressing him or her in flame retardant materials such as:

  • Coated nylon
  • Melamine
  • Modacrylic
  • Wool
  • Leather
  • Fire-Resistant Cotton

You can also purchase flame retardant spray to apply to your infant’s surroundings, or buy flame retardant textiles to create your own infant clothes.

  1. Improper Fit

The way clothing fits plays a huge role in how safe the wearer is, and your infant is no exception. Loosing fitting garments can get tangled, while tight clothing can pinch and cut off circulation. Be sure you infant’s clothes fit properly through each stage of growth to ensure maximum safety.

Dress your child in clothes that do not possess these features and you should be good to go. For more information about special clothing concerns regarding your infant, consult a pediatrician.

How Will Divorce Affect My Taxes?

Filing for divorce and having that divorce finalized can have far-reaching effects on your taxes. They can change the way you file taxes, what kind of returns you get back and how much money you get back each year.

How Will Divorce Affect My TaxesIf you haven’t finalized the divorce yet, then you and your spouse can still file jointly. You will no longer be able to do so once the divorce has been finalized, though. Even if you are not divorced yet, you may not be able to file a joint return. In that case, you should be able to file as a head of the household. Once everything is finalized with the divorce, though, you will need to file as single.

When filing taxes, only one parent can name the child as their dependent. This is very important since whoever gets to claim the child also receive a $1,000 tax credit. If there is a custodial parent listed on the divorce decree, then the decision to claim or not claim the child is pretty cut and dry. Whoever has custodial control gets to claim the child. Without that decree, though, the decision is bit murkier, and you may need to consult the judge or a lawyer.

This applies to much of the child’s expenses as well. If you are the custodial parent, then you are expected to pay for that child’s education, medical bills and other expenses. You will be able to claim those on your taxes where applicable.

If you are paying alimony or child support following a divorce, then you can deduct those from your taxes when you file. The alimony only qualifies, however, if child support payments are written into your divorce settlement agreement. You cannot claim payments you made voluntarily as alimony payments. If you paid for medical bills for your child, even if you are not the custodial parent, you may be able to deduct those from your taxes, but it would be wise to ask a lawyer advice about what counts and what doesn’t when it comes to voluntary payments like these.

There are many other ways that divorce can affect your taxes, and you may not realize all of them on your own. It certainly complicates matters, and taxes are already complicated enough. That’s why it’s a good idea to file your taxes with a tax specialist for the first couple years following a divorce.
